BD1982

BD1982 is a producer and DJ who has been pushing his own take on bass-oriented music from Philadelphia to Kyoto, back to Queens and now currently in Yokohama. Working with Dev79 and Starkey of the Seclusiasis crew from Philadelphia in the past years, BD1982 has seen releases on the acclaimed Street Bass Anthems mixtapes as well his own The Bigfoot EP in 2007.
Recently BD1982 has completed official remixes for DZ, Velapene Screen, and Kotchy, and since moving to Japan he's become a regular DJ at Goth-Trad's popular Back To Chill parties in Tokyo. This past September saw the release of "Shotta Pon De Corner ft. 77KLASH/Space Boots" on Seclusiasis. The future dub beat riddim for "Shotta Pon De Corner" originally came from BD1982's wildly popular bootleg remix of the Cataracs & Pack's 'Blueberry Afghani', which received big ups in Kid Kameleon's XL8R Magazine column as well as countless blogs.
BD1982's debut album "Lets Talk Math" will be released early 2010 on Seclusiasis.
